We started our Church through our “Mission” outreach program.
We began our Mission and call it the La Mesa de Dios Mission (The Table of God). We believed then on our very first night January 8, 1996 that God had ordained us to begin this ministry to reach people on the Street. What we did not know was that God had a bigger picture in mind…
The first three verses of Isaiah 53 gives those who will come to Him and invitation to a spiritually abundant life, “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the sure mercies of David. (Isaiah 55:1-3)” We took God’s Word & Promises seriously and began this ministry, through which the Gospel has been shared with, and demonstrated to well over 40,000 families in just over 15 years.
Each month we hear of miracles in the lives of those who serve in, and are served by this ministry. We labor every week to be found faithful to the call, commission, and command that God has given us. We ask that you would pray for our volunteer ministers that are involved with this ministry, and those who that Lord will send our way.
